There should be a tutorial in the RUStuff thread, there is definitely one there.
Thanks ladies, I am off to download Irfanview, I just could not find the tutorial anywhere.
Hers hoping I can finish my project.
I use Gadwin Printscreen for my screenshots. It's a doddle. :D
I just go ctrl alt prt Scr and open in paint x
I think Irfanview is only used for cropping the screen print using the Windows keyboard screen print button as Sarah says, it doesn't do screen shots.
I had Gadwin for a while, but tried King Kong Capture and found that much nicer to use, so deleted GW. It's a shame you can't still get it free, I was just lucky to get the last free one.
I use Gadwin too, it works in other programmes as well as Design Master and Robomaster, it's very useful.

I use ctrl and print screen and open in word by right clicking & paste xx
The thing with Gadwin though is you can just select a portion of the screen you want a shot of and using the computer prntscrn you get the whole screen I think.
I generally use the Print Screen option and open in PSP. If I'm going to be picky, I'll use PSP's own screen capture functions which also let you grab just a certain area, amongst other things. Adobe Reader also has its own capture function, which is very handy when working with images on some of the craft CDs; I use it to paste into PSP when I do Robo decoupage.

I use my print screen button all the time, and yes it does copy the whole page, so I then crop it while it is in paint, and then save, so you then only have what you need copied, and it only takes seconds to do.
Oh I am even more confused now, I didnt manage to complete the tutorial either. I am not even sure what a screenshot does, so should I get rid of Irfanview?
I dont have PSP so If I use what Pollywhatsit says to do, thats ok?
Can someone explain to me exactly what the purpose of a screenshot does. Sorry to appear thick.
