My friend's hubby is a Geordie and it is his birthday very soon - I thought he would like this.
Old = scraps of hologram card and birthday banner.
New = Picture of Tyne bridge and black card stock.
I am still ploughing my way through a box of scrappy bits - all of this card has been made from 'left overs' !
Old: Cream card stock with faint blue speckles; Blue card stock; Silver Mirri; small piece of paper from Joanna Sheen "William Morris" collection; Swirl also cream card using a 'Marianne' die.
New: The fact that I have done something with the bits !
Here are a couple of recent cards using new stash:

Here's another one using new Crate Paper stash that I made yesterday for a Mojo Monday sketch challenge:

Thoae are all really lovely - I especially like the Rainbow one and the one with the stripey bow !
Birthday card for a friend:
Old: Cream Card stock; Marianne Scrolls die; Marianne text die; sheet from a 8"x8" Dovecraft paper pad - lost the cover so can't give the name !
New: 38mm circle punch; green skeleton leaves; and the tea-bag folding technique ! Saw it in a magazine.
I have done tea-bag folding before - but not with circles - what do you think ?
Hope you don't mind me joining in. My big thing is dies and I buy them but fail miserably sometimes to use them, so here's card made with 2 dies: an old Spellbinders ribbon label and a new Memory Box branch die....
Hello and welcome ! That card is really beautiful !
A really pretty card
Really gorgeous cards everyone and great idea to get us using any old stash we have. While sorting through a box of goodies I found stuff I had forgotten about so it was like I had new goodies all over again.
Anyway, I've made a start on my Christmas cards using some paper from a stack I purchased about 3years ago but never actually used. I cannot believe I left it unused for so long!
I haven't worked out how to get a piccie on here yet but when I do I will pop it on here.
Another made from left overs !
Old: = Cream card stock; Backing paper left from another card; Pink silk flowers.
New: = Copper hologram card; recently learned Faux tile technique - mounted the paper on the hologram card first so that it would not tear.
Pink skeleton leaves which I covered with Versamark, sprinkled with Silver Sparkle Powder and heat embossed.
