I'll let her know! She has tried to teach me but I don't have the knack like she does, I like to think of my bows as shabby chic ha ha

Also - here is my card for week 2. I'm not really feeling the love for this one but have been super tired all week and the craft room is a mess (full of Christmas decs and trees waiting to be put away!) so it will have to do!
Will have a go at a Christmas one next. Details for this one on my blog here

Lots of lovely cards on this thread already - so many different styles and ways to interpret the prompts so far. Fab!
Lovely card Trish, the background paper makes me think spring/summer are on the way, so cheerful. I know what you mean about the untidy craft room, all my charity card stuff needs to be re-homed until next year - or should that be later this year!
Jess those hedgehogs are super cute.
Fiona, that's a lovely card, the flower is just gorgeous.
Trish I think your card is lovely! Bright, happy and cheerful. Fi, your card is signature class! Kraft plus such a crisp finish - fabulous job = a Fi special. :D
Here's my Week 2 card :

The image is a bit yellowy, but my mother has no photo editing package on her computer ...
Trish that is such a pretty card. I love the font, is it a stamp?
It looks like a stamp because I think I've seen it on Nat's cards and it is gorgeous.
Lovely card Ali but what is all that stuff about Nike below the image in the gallery? Actually, it's in a few different places - Layouts, Cards and Bits and Pieces.
My go at week 2 card is here

I LOVE all the bright cards- gorgeous! coloured mine , just got to assemble and photograph in the daylight .
I see advertising on this forum lately too - necessary I suppose, but a shame nonetheless ... great start, Merion! I do love bright colours - very happy making. :D
It was a spammer Susie. I reported one of the comments I saw and I think they have been blocked now. It happens from time to time, but is usually fairly swiftly dealt with. The first one I've seen in a long while.
Thank you for your lovely comment Ali:)
I'll be having a go at that bright colour palette over the weekend. A challenge for a girl whose mainstay is kraft and cream with the addition of one other colour:lol:
That's what is so great about the challenges, Fi! Good (but scarey, I know) to be pushed out of our comfort zones ..... :D
