I'm back - sort of......

Hi guys.

I must have seemed to fall off the face of the earth but in fact I was in hospital after a very small (so small I didn't know it had happened) heart attack.

I had an angioplasty (small stent to open up one artery) and although the Dr says all the rest looks good, I still am banned from pretty much everything for a few weeks. I did explain UKS isn't like a real job, but the cardiac lady tells me at this point stress is the issue, not physical work. I guess maybe moving UKS was more stressful then I thought it was LOL!

So I'll be around but not doing much. I moved the Sept 7th Font of the Week here but it appears slightly out of order. It's called Aquatico and is really a nice one. So much so I bought the full set myself :)

If there is anything that is super important, let me know via PM. If there is only one place to check I can do it quickly in the small amount of online time I am allowing myself every day.

Thanks for your patience. I am here, just keeping a low profile for the moment. Back to fighting fit in a few weeks, I'm sure.

DO NOT "work" too much ... not even a little bit . Your health is far more important than any little query or niggle anyone on here could possibly have. Thank you for caring about this place and us .. but that works both ways .. we value you far too much to jeopardise your complete and quick recovery My best wishes and prayers are with you.

That's scary Mary Anne but stress can cause so many problems. I'm so glad it was picked up and you're okay but please take it easy until you feel fully fit xx

MaryAnne, your health is way more important than any issues that happen here. Please just take your time and relax a bit. You have always been here for us, now its time for us to support you.

Try not to stress out about things, easier said than done I know, but there is nothing that can't wait. Enjoy the time off, and make sure you have time just for you.

I wish you a speedy and full recovery, and just echo the others that you are more important than a website (even though we love the website too) and need to put yourself and your family first

Please, please rest up MaryAnne - you give us all so much and it really is appreciated, but we want you fit and healthy above all else. And a wee chance to say "thank you" for all your hard work.

Thanks. I am allowing myself an hour or so in the AM to come online, check on stuff, see if there is anything I can do quickly, then back off. It's annoying but I figure if I do what the Dr says and try to not "work" for the 2 to 3 weeks he says, then I should be back to fighting fit, although at a slower pace. Being a pretty stress-y person in general, it's pretty hard :) but I just breathe deep and try not to put pressure on myself.

At least most of the UKS move was smooth enough and stuff is mostly working. I hope that is ok for the time being.

MaryAnne your health is far more important than anything that needs fixing on here so do as the doc orders and REST!!!!! This was natures way of making you ease up ignore this warning and next time you wont have an option!!!!!

Thanks all! I am adjusting to the medication and taking it very easy. I will be seeing the Dr. this week and then hopefully be given the OK to dive back in more fully. As someone who spends 12 hours a day online, in one way or another, it's pretty frustrating to try to limit myself to an hour or two here and there. :)

Do not overdo it MA! So shocked to read this..albeit a bit late... Take care of yourself and please, please do as the Dr orders!

Welome to the club, MaryAnne! Just do as they say, take it easy, try not to stress about things that don't matter (and to be honest most things are not that important in the big scheme of things ), know your limits and I can guarantee you will be fighting fit in no time. Oh and take the tablets when you are supposed to......that's were I went wrong at first. They do you no good at all washed down with a glass of red in the evening, believe me! :nono:

Do take care MA and don't rush back into things. Hope all goes well at the Doctors but you must take it easy. Gentle (((hugs)))
