November Blog Bits and Blog-a-thon
Layouts
http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...oventryAnn.JPG Welcome to November Blog Bits, kicked off this month with a gorgeously colourful page by CoventryAnn . Scroll down a little way on scrapdolly's blog to find a page using an autumnal palette and another by scrapdolly well worth a look is this digi page using a kit by sponsor Dawn Inskip. Jen of sponsor Wearcrafts has also chosen seasonal colours for a page using the lovely WRMK Wildflower. The next two pages I'd like you share are from two of my favourite bloggers, if I'm stuck for inspiration I'll usually find it on their blogs; the first is butterbee and the other is sutty. And finally in this section, we have sketch challenges from littlechubblies and another from MiniOwner.
Cards
http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...Katie_Lamb.JPG This stunning card is one of a series by Katie Lamb . Anyone else panicking that they haven't started their Christmas cards yet? I will make a real effort to join in Beat the Christmas Rush in 2016 as I'm kicking myself now for letting it slide this year and KraftyKaren has some great ideas for festive cards to get you started. If you are partial to a bit of steampunk here be dragons has shared an unusual Christmas card you won't want to miss and jay670120 shows us a super card using a punched flower to make a Christmas wreath. Staying with Christmas, danyaz is celebrating the return of her mojo with a pile of cute cards. Mystik Nat was dared to create a card inspired by what she does when she's not crafting and CraftyPrincess has taken inspiration for her card from London Fashion week.
Other projects
http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...s/Effemera.JPG Another go-to blog on my list is Efemera's and I love love love these beautiful Christmas canvases. I'm a regular visitor to soojay's blog too and her art journal is fab-u-lous! More stunning art journal work can be found on Suzy's blog. I think I might join a Postcard Swap in the hope of receiving one like scrapmate uk's postcards. A UKS swap worth a look at is the Tag Swap if lemonblossom's are anything to go by. ScribbleMonster has completed A Week in the Life with some fantastic pages and the video is inspired. I am fascinated by the matchbox skeleton shack which lou@papermaker has blogged, and finally, a link to cibergirl76's wonderfully organised craft room in the hope it might encourage me to do something about the wreckage that used to be my craft room!
A big :thanks: to all the bloggers featured here.
