Okay, this is Week 1's card and the new stash was the pretty embossed frames. Just had to use it for great grandmother with her (of course) great grand-daughter.

Hi again,
Here is my week 1 card. I didn't get any stash for Crimbo :(, but have made up for that by finding a Grand Caliber . in the marketplace. Hope you like my first birthday card of 2014 made in my new home.

Azimuth, liking that Australia card particularly.
All the cards I've seen are great girls.
Super pic of Gt Granny and baby.
Great week 1 cards ladies - we are definitely off to a good start. :D
I'm really looking forward to seeing how the colour prompt is interpreted this week - especially if you are playing along with the Christmas cards. ^_^
Here's my rather bright card for this week - it looked a tad different before I went to photograph it and had some last minute alterations as it just wasn't what I had in mind, but pleased to say the end result is much better:

Nat - love that card! All those hexagons must have been a serious commitment, I thought it was just a hexagon patterned paper till I read your blog!
It really is a stunning card Nat. I didn't realise that wasn't patterned paper!!!
I'm having terrible problems taking photo's of these cards, don't think this weather helps at all.
Thanks for your kind words ladies.
Great cards folks, hope you enjoy your new toy Mrs N.
Natty that card is stunning and you must have the patience of a saint to stick all those hexagons down.
Here we go with Week 2's card. I'm on a roll but don't expect it to last.
I hope this fits the bill colour wise.

Hi everyone! Waving to old friends and new. It's so lovely to have so many more people playing along. Susie - gorgeous card and I am loving the new bright theme. Will have to dig some supplies out and have a go. :)
Lovely cards everyone - Susie, how do you manage to make such neat bows???
Wendy
Hehe, well I knew it wouldn't be long before I got my trusty MFT hexagon dies out - they're very good for creating backgrounds. It's just sticking down the first hexagon and hoping it's going to be more or less straight that's the issue. :)
But glad you liked the card. :D
Really nice take on the cooler shades in the pic Susie, and I agree, very neat bow tying skills!
Sarah, really like how you interpreted not just the colours but the way the fabrics were arranged in the pic. Very nice! :)
I must admit, I thought it was hexi paper you'd used. Didn't think you'd cut all those hexis out .... now I'm even more impressed
Its lovely seeing everyones cards. And last night while I was blog reading I came across several that are also joining in on the challenge and made gorgeous cards :)
