Most of you are aware that Joanne is very poorly in hospital. I have been in touch with Anita, her sister, to ask for permission to make a book of uplifting quotes and poems about how wonderful life is. And she thinks it is a great idea to brighten up Jo's dark days in bed.

Im willing to co-ordinate it providing you artistic girlies can create a 6x6 page with wonderful messages and poems and quotes ... maybe storeis that will comfort her and be in the knowledge that you care too.
I will collate them, bind the book and send it to Jo direct if you can send me your artwork by 10th November.

Please say you help make the biggest "happy" book that UK scrappers has made and in return light up the eyes and heart of a very poorly lady xx

Kirsty, what a lovely idea.

I've only been on UKS since the summer so don't know Joanne personally, I first heard about her fight for health from Anita when she was altering photo's. It doesn't matter whether I know her or not, though, she's one of our online 'family' and I'd love to send you a layout (or a few if you'd like!) and if there's anything else I can do to help co-ordinate it all or whatever, just shout.

Sending very best wishes to Joanne, and to Kirsty too for caring enough to come up with this idea in the first place.

To let the thread know in advance I will be doing the 'Footprints' poem as it's my all time fave & very uplifting.

ETA NOT doing this idea now, something more upbeat.
