((((hugs)))) to you, Kirsty. You are doing such a great job of being a wonderful and supportive friend, and I just wanted to offer a little of that TLC back to you. Sometimes when you are so busy being strong for others, you forget to allow yourself to lean on others too. Look after yourself, hun.
And I'm sure all of us would be very grateful if you'd pass on our hugs and support to Anita, and to Joanne's children and Mum too, along with sunshine and sparkles to Joanne herself.
I echo Sprogpaws post, couldnt have put it better myself. Its a lovely thing you are doing Kirsty and Im glad that so many people are contributing. Am sure it will keep Joanne's spirits up in the days ahead. Hugs to her and her family xxx
I wish i didnt have to do it but what upsets me most is that we only seem to rally together when somebody has gone. Why not make these last few weeks something for her to cherish? I only hope that if I was in her shoes that my freinds would help me get by so colourfully xx
love Kirsty xx

i three agree with sprogpaws.....its times like this that you find the nice people in the world around us....as opposed to all we see on the tv....definately appricate people like you kirsty....thank you.
can you pm me your addy please? i'm almost finished on my lo so want to get it out asap now.
i agree kirsty, by having the opportunity to share the last months/weeks/days is always something else, but when the end comes suddenly, no matter who it is the ones behind ar left with the bigger hole to figure out. this book, i'm sure, will make such a difference to Joanne for what time she has left, then hopefully it will be acomfort to her children and her family afterwards to know that so many people, even strangers like me, actually care. life sucks at times, but its what we do in the time we have that really counts, and this thread really says it all!
Joanne was on my team and we have grow very close so this is the saddest news and I told the girls in my team last week. I pray for a cure for this terrible disease.
I will get to work this weekend on my layout just getting my thinking cap on now. The layouts that I have seen are fantastic and I am sure that Joanne will be amazed when she receives her book.
Just finished mine now, I've only just read this far down the thread so I hope what I've chosen is still appropriate, it's definitely bright anyway! I'll take a piccy when the glue's dried and pop it in the post tomorrow so it should be with you by Friday. xx Leonora
*edit just taken a piccy, I'll scan it so it's clearer if I can get my scanner working. I've used the "bring me sunshine" song as my quote.
