Helping a complete novice ~ update

Thanks to all who contributed ideas on my previous thread here.

I have had a lovely day today, spending time with my friend Wendy, who wants to get into scrapbooking. We went shopping and she bought all the suggested items on the "must have" list, including the HOTP papers "From Girls to Women" (- thanks Anne for that suggestion!) and a few more things besides.

Wendy came out of the shop saying she hadn't spent as much as she was expecting!

When we came home I helped her to get started on her first LO, with very pleasing results. She's now all fired up and keen to do more, with loads of good ideas.

Awwww what a great friend you are .... have you told her to look at Scrapdolly's blog ??? SD has loaded up instructions to make a gorgeous layout, and by all accounts will continue posting them !
