Question Question 'bout carving with the Robo ?????

    Hi everyone there,

I'm new in this Forum and I also have my Robo new *smile*... But now I have a question and I don't know how to solve it....

I just want to know, if there's a chance just to carve in the paper and not really cut it out... ??????

If there's any chance that anyone could answer in german I would be very pleased... If not please don't use so difficult words, because I need so long to find the words in my dictionary... *smile*

Thanks everyone and please excuse my grammatic and words used... (I'm not very good in english... understanding is not the biggest problem, but writing is a bit difficult for me...*smile*)

Thanks a lot and have a nice evening/ day/ night....

    Greeting from Germany...

I think maybe bastelfan means dry embossing. Someone posted a thread the other day about doing this didn't they with two stencil cutouts exactly the same?

    Hi there,

I looked in my dictionary and for my search word there's to carve... ????

I will try to discribe what I mean...

I have a template for a blind-card... I will try in another way: Here comes the link to the page where I found it (it's just in german, but I hope you will see what I want): (sorry I can't give you the link, but I'm not allowed to put a url in as a new member)...
I want to make a card with a blind to make it open with some ribbons and so I just want to carve in the paper and not really cut it out, so I can kink it better/ easier...
And I want to put the 2nd template into a gsd-file. And the broken line is a kink (?)-line as to see on the 1st and 2nd photo to put the blind open...

    Hope this helps...

And so I want to know if there's a chance to get the kink-line into the gsd-file for my Robo (the new one); so it would be easier to kink the paper...

I tried to put the template into the Robo-Master-Software...

Thanks to you!!! And I hope you can understand this a bit better, then my first try...

    Love
    bastelfan

Guten abend! Ich sprech kein Deutsch...
Ist hier Babel Fisch - er versucht, für mich zu übersetzen:

Do you want to make this? (du diese machen?)

You make score lines [perforations] on the card so that you fold (falte??) it easily.

The Robo makes score lines like this ----- or this _._._

My photos show you how to do it. (Meine Fotos zeigen Ihnen)

To think that a member whose first language is not English can ask for help and get it is wonderful

I'm actually ashamed because by rights I ought to be able to speak fairly fluent German. My father was in the army and was stationed in Germany for many years, and was very proud of the fact that he'd been told that he spoke the language like a native. I spent around 5-6 years in total over there as a child, and did pick up some, but at army schools there i was expected to learn French and Latin!! - but not the language of the country we lived in. However I can use the excuse that I had to dig back for memories over 50 years old... though I did have Babel Fish to really help me out!!
