Recipe Album
Hi,
just wondered if anyone had made such a thing - ie - with photo of favourite food idea and a recipe on how to make?
I am into baking and thought it could be a nice way to keep all my favourite recipes together so wondered if anyone had done anything similar?
thank you

There must have been a class or a mag article on this about 6 months ago, as we have a major rush on the 7 G's File folder albums and the Yummy sticker. Sorry not much help, but I am sure someone will remember

Handbag, shoe and choco - holic!
If I were to do any such thing (doubtful) I'd use a lunch tin.

I'm in the middle of doing this for my eldest son. I'm using a 7Gypsies 7"x7" album and using a combination of just printing the recipe and sometimes with a photo. This is the front cover.
I will be doing the same for No. 2 son, but I've bought a BG lunch pail album to do his.
But, both of them asked to me do it, when i suggested it, so I think it's a lovely thing to do.

I've considered doing this, but I'm not sure how I'd protect the pages from cookery splashes!

Trust me....I'm full of scrap!
we have these recipe boxes to make and cover. I did one the other week. I will try to take a picture and attach it to the product later today. We also have this 8x8 recipe album. Lots of papers and embellsihments under the food and eating section of our site.

Master of cut and paste!
Uh-oh.... I didn't see that someone had already started this thread and just posted a similar one HERE. Sorry for the duplication.
I do have a neat book called 'Album Shortcuts' by Simple Scrapbooks that has a great recipe album in it. It's not suitable for me (a Circle Journal) as the pages are all coordinated, but if you want to make your own, it's great.
Hope that helps.

Keen Cardmaker
I did an online class a while ago with my kit club and it was made with a photo album. Print recipes onto 4x6 or 5x7 index cards, embellish them and then slip them into the photo pockets (which is great as they can be wiped clean if you splash them when cooking). I used a 4x6 album from asda that was only £2.50. It had a plastic sleeve on it, which I kept and them embellished underneath and replaced the cover to keep it clean. I also made co-ordinating divider cards for each recipe type. Don't have any pics but I was really pleased with it.
