    rolling 1st Crop

    Hiya Guys,

I have my very first crop tonight, am excited about it. I don't know what I need to take though. I get a small kit (£2.50 so won't be much) but I don't really know what it will include. Only that it is enough for a LO. I don't have a craft tote thing so will have to take a normal bag but do I kneed my paper trimmer? My boxes of embellishments? I really don't know what to take, I obviously can't take it all.....Help

Will the kit be enough for a page?? Perhaps take essential tools and perhaps try and put a page kit together with piccies from your own stash. I always have this dilemma .....often take everything, but then my crops are 10 til 5.

for an evening crop I usually take my trimmer, glue, tape, pencil, ruler, corner rounder punch, silent setter, paper piercer and scissors and some ink pads. My tutor will inform us if we need to take anything extra. HTH and enjoy yourself! I love going to crops!
    Take care,

Trimmer? It's a 12 x 12 thing. Quite big. Thing is I don't know what pics to taake eithr. Maybe I should take a few.

I don't have a paper piercer, the crop is 6-9 and apparently the kit is supposed to be enough for a LO. I'm assumning I can buy stuff before or after - it is held by a shop.

    I'm all cafuzzled....

Well, you'll need something to cut with if you don't want to take the trimmer - a metal ruler, craft knife and mat....adhesive, incl DS tape, herma, diamond glaze and or PVA glue, foam tape/pads.

.....a big needle will do for piercing if you need it, but that wouldn't be on my list of essentials.

I take chalk inks, mixed embellies, and several photos as I'd get at least a couple of LOs done in 3 hours. I usually take a project, like a journal or CJ in case I don't get inspired - and most of the time I have some ideas in my head about what I want to do with a photo.

You will be fine I am sure that you will be chatting and drinking tea too so that eats up the time too Go with Jules on the essentials, and if you decide that you wished you have x y z embellies for your lo that you have at home, write yourself a note,

    Most of all Enjoy yourself

Not long now, I'm nervous and excited........I'm worried my LO will be rubbish compared to others too....I know it's all part of learning and stuff, but it still makes me nervous

Don't worry about it - it's not a competition - the best part about going to a crop is how much you can learn and pick up from other scrappers - this applies whether you've been scrapping for 10 minutes or 10 years

I've just booked a place on my first crop too, but it's not till 4th September so I have plenty of time to organise my supplies and get inspired. Hoping to get more done than I do in an evening at home, although I've heard that tea and chat are as important as scrapping, so maybe not

I'm quite excited about going and meeting some 'in real-life' scrapbookers

    Hiya

Yes, I really enjoyed it thanks. Not many of us there but I made a great LO. I'm really really pleased with it. Toward the end I was just chatting cos I didn't take any other projects with me and I the pics I took werent really suitable. I finished it at home and have pics on my blog. I need to make them smaller so I can upload to the gallery.

Cerulean Blue, you will love it. I loved being with other scrappers and one other was relatively new too. I adored using all their equipment like a Cropadil and Ellison Big Shot Machine (That is now on my Christmas list).

Take a look at my LO, it's simple but effective.

Great LOs! the photo in the first one - looks so good it should have been deliberate. Well done you!
