    Here is a site with loads of those jar mixes... all the dry ingredients in a jar... Altho, I'm sure they all use American measurements, so might be less useful

    The recipe measurements are easily adaptable !

    Put some straw in a ziplock bag and attach a (decorated) tag that reads "Straw Hat - Assembly Required"

    A spring type clothes peg with a penny glued on it, and then write on the peg - "Penny Pincher"

    Put some sawdust in a small ziplock bag. Add a tag with the words "Expert Jigsaw Puzzle"

    Just thought hysteri-cal mentioned see thro plasic baubles, couldn't you insert photos of your children in and add beads/ sequins so its like a christmas shaker bauble? This would be great for relatives who complain they don't get enough pics of them.

    I was in Quality Save today and they had 'snow shakers' that you put your own photo into. When shaken they move silver glitter around in the liquid, and the photo is in a slot that runs right up the centre (as best I could tell).

    Not the sort of thing my family would appreciate, so didn't check the price etc.
