Singing doesn't frighten Tree off!!! She had to put up with my constant singing in the last one so she's used to it.

Did you know that the original Magic Roundabout stories were written in French by Serge Danot, and then Eric Thompson wrote stories from the French cartoons, with the sound turned down, as he didn't like the French. He was very eccentric, and didn't like to read to his two daughters - one of whom is the actress Emma Thompson.

I heard her reading one of the stories recently, with obvious great affection.

Yeah, I often find myself wondering what the stories were actually about in French
