    Burns night

    I have to make some cards to go on a burns night dinner table
    so any suggestions as to a stamp or stamps i could use
    thinking heather stamp or thistle so before i start trolling the web anyone know any off the top of their heads.

    I'm sure if you post on the sponsors thread you will get some suggestions.

    I can see a range of Scottish stamps in my head but can't think who makes them - and I see you're not handy for shopping in Scotland...!

    ETA I meant the Shop till you Drop section, not the Sponsors section.

    Because Burns Night is about addressing the Haggis and u get a plate of Haggis Neeps and Tatties I would suggest a Haggis too.

    A really popular Burns poem is 'To A Mouse' (http://www.robertburns.org/works/75.shtml. This is often read at Burns' suppers. So you could maybe do a cute mouse with some tartan ribbon, tartan paper. The House Mouse stamps are pretty cute if you have any. And you could put 'Wee, sleekit, cow'rin, timrous beastie' (first line of the poem) on the front too.
