I only ever make my own, I ve struglled to find good quality cards ready folded to be quite honest, and I ve tried loads. The thing istho, is really not that hard I normally buy a whole box of card from PaperMill and cut then fold the whole lot in front of the telly, then I ve got full sheets of A4 card to cut diferent sizes should I need to. A very nice way to get an A5 card is to cut your A4 sheet lengtways in half and then score the card in half so the fold ends up at the top instead of on the side

Usually make my own, however I took advantage of the Craftwork Cards warehouse sale earlier this year and got a box load of their card blanksin brights and pastels.... some really nice card blanks in there to choose from. I wanted to try their acetate blanks as well as some have a frosty look from what I remember...

I tend to make my own too, buy boxes of Papermill card. Yep those scoreboards come in very handy - I couldn't be without mine.

The score boards are a godsend for me!!! I score all my cards to and then all my boxes for the most unusual sizes, I tend to buy A4 and cut in half so you end up with a A5 size card and you can easily get envelopes for that size. If you re planning on folding your own cards I would say is deffo a must,if you re happy to buy blanks then probably you shouldn t bother, cos for the odd one you can alaways use the groove in your paper trimmer to score a few. And you know I ve said in the earlier post that I cannot seem to get decent folded ones well that s not entirely true cos the blanks wich come with the GOGO greetings kit are really fabulos quality and you get diferent sizes too

Do you just use the normal card boxes from papermill for £6.99? How many do you get? I dont have one near me so I have to go online for it.

    Thanks

I make my envelopes by simply wrapping cards up with thick tracing paper and sealing with scotch tape. They post well too as long as you use waterproof ink for the address. There is one that I've wrapped just for show in my gallery

It's nice to see people open them too as they take much more care than they would with an envelope, and they always try to re-wrap it once they've read it.

Oh Faye, you make your own boxes, you never pay any money for them, keep the money for extra stash There is a really easy box tutorial on my blog, follow it and you will make a box in no time at all.

Just went to your blog and read the boxes tutorial. Thanks !

I make my own card blanks and evelopes too. I use the Greensneakers envelope templates to make my envelopes. They are fast and easy to use.
