So much to scrap, so little time
Lovely LO. I think the heart works, but I personally prefer the idea of a paw print. Alternatively a rim of paw prints around or across the heart.
I like to include my hubby in my crafting as much as possible......so that he can't complain about the amount of money or time I send on it. If I'm stuck on simple things like "which paper looks best" or "which arrangement works better", then I'll ask him. If I were you I would be very tempted to try his idea. If you are careful with taking off the heart and sticking down a paw print then it won't really be much of a bother to try his idea and involve him.
May points - Big fat zero so far.

Personally I like the heart, it ties it in to the verse xx

Mad Cat Person!!!
Agree with Jules re the pawprint distracting from the real ones in the snow! I love this just the way it is and think that a red heart or other colour might take the emphasis away from the photos as your eye would go straight to the heart then (if you will excuse the pun!)
