Thanks for the replies about which to buy! I am leaning towards the slice as i think i will get more for my money, i can afford the machine and about 3 or 4 cartridges whereas with the cricut i can get the machine with the cartridge it comes with! Where did you all buy yours from..i have found 2 places one is more expensive than the other but the other doesnt have any at moment and if i buy it i want it NOW!!

Hi all
I've been reading this thread with interest and decided to go for a Slice, I got mine from Emma at Imagine That (sponsor). I've had a bit of a play but need to find the time to try out more sizes and shapes. I haven't used the glue, I used masking tape to secure my card down and it seemed to work fine.

Picked my Slice up from Paperarts yesterday and I'm really impressed with it. So far cut everything perfectly first time.

i am waiting for my slice from artbase because the thought of the extra card in february is so cool (I know I will be green with envy about it if i didn't have access to it) so having to wait a little extra time seems worth it...
