Making Memories - Slice

I emailed MM and asked about the USA charger if purchasing from the USA and the possibility of using your own memory card with your own image on. Here is the reply i received

Thank you for your email and your excitement about the Slice! To answer your questions:

Yes, the Slice will come with a US charger only.

No, our cartridges are not yet made for downloading custom images. We have considered making this step, but if this is an idea we pursue, it will not be released for some time.

I'm not too sure they understood my question regarding a memory card as they say about the cartridges.

just thought this might be useful for those wishing to purchase it.

I sent an email to making memories and they sent one back saying that the slice will be released the last week of july

I have to agree, this is the only machine that I have felt I must have like . . . . NOW!!! But I have promised myself to be very good and hang on for a while longer to see if they bring out a larger version. This one cuts up to 4", I just have a feeling that they will make a bigger one in the not too distant future. Like Cricut and Cricut Expression iyswim.

I pre-ordered mine from the States and I had to specify whether or not I wanted the UK version, so am guessing (and hoping now!) that it will work. Can't wait for it to come!!

bugging me, have all the sponcers saved in my favs and they were there, but they want alot o dollar for the machine, its a great idea but cant justify the money atm, like someone said if they bought out a bigger cutting one that would be brill, to many machines on the market to tempt us all
