I have also made this card for my friends daughter.. the idea of it was to use the centre piece as a bookmark.... having problems getting it to stick down tho... have used Herma so it can be removed easily..... any ideas? What does everyone else use to stick their cards together?

    Hi there

Yes its acetate stamped with stazon opaque ink with the swirly stamp and then the stamped image is stuck on with glue dots and then another one on the inside to cover the back of the image on the front, if you see what I mean!

I made a card on Friday morning HERE with my new Ballerina Tilda....she is very different so some of the others (think it is in the hands....she is one of the older ones I think).
There have, as always been some gorgeous cards posted while I have been away. When I get home I will visit Blogs and Galleries and leave befitting feedback.

How about using little photo corners - the slot in type - so you would stick the photo corners onto your card and slip the corners of the bookmark in to stay firm.

When I have made bookmark cards I either make a pocket on the front for the card and decorate the pocket similar or the same as the bookmark - or I use vellum or acetate to make a little pocket - attached with brads - for the bookmark to sit in - that way the design on the bookmark shows through. Beutiful cards everyone - Kerry - I love that last one you did in the greens and purples. The whole card is stunning - what is the flower decoration you have used - it looks really effective.
