    My Robo has arrived!!!!!

He arrived safely at 1120am..... weighing 3kg...... very healthy and all appendages intact..... thanks to DHL for helping with the safe delivery of the new baby to my family.....

I now have to work out how to care for the little mite!!!! any parenting help would be appreciated..... also any suggestions for a name

I have the CR100-20 software installed..... and now need to learn to use it and get all the other software needed to keep my lil baby healthy and happy

    Congratulations :lol

I would suggest starting with the tutorials, in particular Bev's Getting started which you can find in the RoboMaster section. Anything you have trouble with, we are here to help and we now have the Newbie challenge, there are still a couple of days left before the new one starts on June 1st.

You might find it useful to visit Graphtec's Crafty Club website and join (if you haven't already!), you'll need your serial number - and download the most up-to-date version of the Robo software. If you've bought your Robo second hand you may need to contact Grahtec to transfer registration details.

If you're a bit nervous initially about cutting, use the green holder and a pen instead - you can practice in total safety then!

Congratulations on your new delivery. Might I suggest that one of the first things you do is get a babysitter......for your other half!

Oh how I agree with stressed's comment about bringing people to their knees! Many's the time Robo Monster almost went out the window, in the bin and to the local amenity tip. He's still here however and doesn't hold the terror he did at first. Enjoy your new baby, it will be very demanding.

That's it, you are done for now. No more freedom, plenty of late nights though, no respite from bits of paper everywhere when you make mistakes cutting (and believe me, you will make a few!) and finally, get used to grunts from the family as you fail to cook a meal because you are 'just trying one last thing'. It is great fun though when you finally get to cut that shape just as you wanted it!
