Hi Sheila. If that hasn't worked I'm stumped then I'm afraid, I have no idea about marquis either, I've only used DM twice myself, so I'm very green also - sorry!

I don't know if this help 'marquis' is a word that means 'Nobleman' as far as I'm concerned it means rectangle used for selecting multiple objects.
It is called this in other programs and is a way of selecting multiple objects, by dragging the cursor round them. Programs vary slightly, some it works by just holding down the mouse button as you drag the cursor diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner, another you might have to hold down the shift key and the mouse button and drag, or it might be the Ctrl key plus the mouse button and dragging. You just have try the different ways and see which one works and of course there is the hold down Shift OR Ctrl and click on a line on each object to select them all individually.
Have a play with these suggestions and see if you can do it. I would have thought this was a very basic function that should have instructions in the help menu.
Just checked in KNK, there isn't a marquee (sumptuous tent) tool, it is called the "Select Tool" which is the red arrow at the top of the left hand tool bar, does this help.

I've done it. I deleted what I had done then started from the beginning and bingo every thing fell in to place just like that. Sorry to have been such a pain but I don't suppose it will be the last time so Thank you to Lucille,Joyce and Anne for all their patience.

I felt just the same as you after getting it almost lined up after a lot of attempts.
Bet you can do it in your sleep now too!
Are we going to get a peek at it?

IMPORTANT
If you have read MaryAnne's message this morning in Chat and I recommend you do, from now on please don't upload any cutting files in this thread post a picture or screen shot only and if you want to share the template and don't have access to the template section yet, contact me or one of the older members who will gladly upload it for you if you email them a copy.
Also check out a few suggestions I have made for helping to identify a UKS template and to make them harder to steal.
