New RM Software 4.4

Do I actually NEED IT? Bit bothered about mucking up my computer as I had a hell of job installing Robo in the first place!

If you don't you won't be able to open any files that are created in the new Craft Robo software.

i think its only so that the people who use the sillouhete can post and share their files it appears when they post we cannot always open the files, if you are not bothered about that happening from time to time then i think you dont need it.

Unfortunately that situation still applies with the CR update. QK are already shipping 4.54 which means the problem still exists. Also those CR members who update will be able to open all the CR files but the members who have not updated will not be able to open any of the new CR files.

That's right, unfortunately its nothing to do with opening Silhouette files, its opening files created by updated Robo users. HTH

ok downloaded, unzipped and installed in less than 2mins.

so i assume i will be on track now with everyone else?

I am afraid it does You can use their files but they cannot use yours.

I sell on ebay and I can see this causing problems.

I havent upgraded either Lesley as now I can put my files through wishaway if they dont have the new software whereas if I upgrade will that still work for the files
I sell mine too to all over so dont want this to stop sales

I just installed the new version in a seperate folder, so have 2.4 and 4.4 installed on my laptop

may not keep 4.4 though as I don't tend to use others files. But will save a copy of the download in case I need it in the future

I think you tried putting my Champagne template through Wishaway Tina and it didn't work and that was created with the new Robo software.

it may be that the person who wrote wish-away will do an update in time to include a code that makes the older files work with 4.4
