New RM Software 4.4

Silhouette is running on a higher software, than robo, maybe wishblade are too.

Wishblade have only just got v4 it was available for download from Graphtec US on July 1st.

Right Lucille, then it does answer why they can open Tina's files cos she's running on 2.4. I think that's right, forgive me if I'm wrong.

Maybe Quickuts do their own software updates now Mary, that may be why we don't have the same versions.

If Wishblade can open the new CR upgrade it would mean that they too are either writing their own software or paying Graphtec to do so. I had a feeling that I had read somewhere that Graphtec were writing the software for both but I might be mistaken, it wouldn't be the first time. Whatever, I think the girls that produce all the wonderful templates will not be able to update as it could ruin their business. As Tina rightly says not everyone is clued up about software and they may not bother to upgrade.

Is there a consistent format between most machines e,g, do all machines open DXF files ?

OK guys now I have a problem. I have done the upgrade and I am getting the error message "can't open file there is an error in the contents".

Wishaway doesn't work on the file. So now what??? Any suggestions is it just me or the file?

Opens for me on the Sil. More and more curious. Was it definitely a CR file that you have opened before.
