that must be a record - I made TWO last year, threw one away and kept my DD's which I shall alter to look like I did a new one () - I liked the one on here which had a christmas tree on the top, so shall be doing that.

Got to think of something different for my DS.

PLUS - whatever I put in my DD's advent this year needs to be 'all wrapped up' cos I found out last year that she nicked a few of the £1 coins when she was desperate for money - she had checked in every box one day when I was out (she is 17) !! AND I knew I had put more money gifts in there than she apparently found.

I liked the christmas tree one too, was that handmade? i've looked around but cant see one small enough for the top.
my mum said she would like a bigger version to put her sewing stuff in so i might have a go at that.

i'd probably be "borrowing" some coins too

    Sharon, thanks that's encouraging

Nearly there BUT I have just looked at my brads and the big pack I had from the stationer's are gold and I need silver. I have just trawled through the high street stationers and can't find silver, can you get them? I do have small silver brads but want them larger.
