i'd probably be "borrowing" some coins too
The tree was handmade and decorated with a christmas decoration
I googled 'christmas tree template. I cut two out of Green card. down the centre I made a slit, one half way from the top of one and one from the bottom of the other one. then i used a glue pen to stick them together. hope that makes sense.

Thanks Gwyneth, just online and they are only showing brass ones. Will be going into town on Thursday so I can call in then. I hope I can get them, I do want the larger ones for little fingers.

    That Halloween box is amazing

If you don't want to use red & green for your Christmas boxes, how about...

    Black/white/silver
    Pink/white/silver
    Purple/gold
    Blue/white/silver
    Lavender/blue/white
    Pink/lavender

There are Christmas ribbons and embellishments available in all of the above colourways. There are also PP stacks containing most of these colours too - Papermania, Anita's, Dovecraft. HTH

we will be able to tell who has been making all these come bonfire night .... we will be able to see the bonfires made completely of matches all across the land lol ! and some will be so big that we might not need to worry about central heating for weeks with the after burn lol!!!
mind you I think some of you ought to try and re sell the matches mack to the match companies as with their sales going crazy you ought to get a premium price ( and what better way to beat the credit crunch ) lol!

Oh Dee you sound just like me - having to find bits for making the calendar - in the end I found card toppers I liked and just pulled them apart for my advent calenar. If I'd had everything in front of me and didn't um and ah over which papers to use it would have taken a fraction of the time to make!
