I too didn't know that the July challenge was already posted! Just saw it now! ...and I have been looking for a couple of weeks now!!! Yikes...Hopefully I can get my dh run some errands so I can get a card done this weekend!

Still a couple of weeks to get some cards done with the end date of the 5th for this month
I've been making up the Crafty Templates August card kits this morning so I took a quick snap and have put one to one side for this months prize so this months prize will be....

August's kit with goodies from Sassafras, Basic Grey, Prima, KI and more.

So much a zinga-zing, Leo! How lovely and bright. Right, here's my card then - I have interpreted the elements a bit laterally - hardware - OLD Making Memories metal plaque which I painted, ribbon - I have used lace here - and alphabet/die cut - I have used the negative of the diecut from the Cricut cartridge, to use the negative swirl (ie left over patterned paper). Patterned paper is Kelly Panacci 360 Degrees.

I was in the card kit swap, and sent this card to my swapee -

Hi Bev - I then distressed the plaque a bit, to reveal some of the metal, but I outlined the palm tree with a fine permanent black marker so that you could see the pattern.

here is my entry
a new anya stamp with checker ribbon, metallic flowers and inside a die cut frame to write your wish. I hope that I have included all the requirements. please if something is not right tell me to submit another card! thank you!

Of course!
The image is a digi stamp (Not sure if I can mention where it came from?). The jeans is done by paper piecing - I downloaded some free jean like paper and printed my image twice, once on plain card and the other on top of this jean card and cut the pieces out that I wanted to use! Simple really xx
