~ September Card Challenge!! ~

Well it's time for another seasonally-inspired challenge this month!

I love this time of year when the fruit bowl starts to fill up with fallen apples from the garden and it's such a hardship to have apple crumble so often... so your challenge is to:

Make a card featuring fruit or veg...

Apples, cherries, strawberries and the like are all the rage in some lines, you could even do a harvest/autumn card featuring pumpkins... or think outside the box.

Just post your cards to this thread, then one lucky person will be chosen as a 'winner' and will receive a goodie of a prize through the post courtesy of Leo (CraftyPrincess).

Remember, to enter the prize aspect of this challenge, you need to make a new card in response to the challenge.

I love anything fruity themed, can't wait to see the cards

I've been all super organized with the prize kit this month, to be fair most of this was already sitting around the office so it wasn't that difficult to pull together

Lots of lovely fruity Rose Moka goodies, a fab cut out sheet from Kitschy Digitals and I picked out some of the new felt buttons I've just put on the site, these look really cute on cards (already been having a play

)

Hmm, every month I look at the challenge and say, ok I'm up for it, and usually fail miserably! But you never, know, maybe fruit and veg and Crafty P will get me off my backside and into my craft room LOL!

like you Mole I always think i'll have a go and then hardly ever do. That said... fruit and veg is definitely a new thing for me. I don't think I've ever featured them on card or LO - unless you count a garden LO i did about my tomato plants!!

the prize looks fab though! Thanks for putting one up every month, Leo, and for the early pic that is making me thing hard about fruit and veg!!!

Well this is my entry for the September challenge, i went with pears! Thought it would make a good wedding, anniversary, engagement card etc.

I just love this, what a great card, well done. Love those eyes.

I can't see me taking part in this as I'm up to my eyes in charity Christmas cards and also have 12 birthday cards for the next month. You'd think I'd be able to squeeze a bit of fruit or veg in there somewhere but I don't know.
