i have done some simple vinyl cards (see my blog http://craftfairy.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html ) and plan to make batches of these as notelets and make a little box for them to give as gifts, i will keep them as general as possible so that they can be used for many occasions

forgot to say, i have just blogged a set of cards that were made using one pack of paperchase stickers (costing £1.00) and some scraps from my scraps box, one pack of the stickers made 6 cards so if you were planning on doing a set for xmas pressies these would be very cost effective!

I'll prob have a go at making some basic calendars - just putting month on each page with background decoration using papers.

this year i plan to try out a few of the ideas mentioned last year and report back!!

I have blogged some etched glasses and some cutle christmas cracker type boxes, both would make great handmade gifts - i plan to do some etched glasses and fill them with sweeties and little gifts all wrapped up in pretty celophane with a nice curly bow!

Just had a look on your blog. The etched glasses look lovely - well done on having the patience to do them!

rolling Couple of Ideas for Cheap Presents

I put these on general section last week but in case you missed them .....

Also what about making packets of snowman soup (hot choc drink, mini marshmallows, and a candy cane + snowman soup poem)

Bon bons in a sweetie bag disguised as snowballs. - (Halloween sweetie bags on my blog)

Aniseed balls in a sweetie bag as reindeers noses.

Chocolate Nibs in sweetie bags - reindeer poop

Cherry lips in a sweetie bag - christmas kisses

M & S always have a good selection of Christmas chocolates in nets, snowmen, santas etc - they can be split up, put in a sweeties bag with a bit of xmas table confetti and a decorated bag tab.

What about making chocolate spoons and sprinkling Dr Oektar white choc stars on them before they set hard?

Give me another day or so and I'll come up with some more ideas!

    Helen
