another xmas idea in the making.....

I have blogged about these brooches on a card

But plan to make some at christmas that are made from snowflakes ans some in the style of poinsettias (sorry if that is nothing like how you spell it!!)

Will post some pics when i have had a play but there is a tutorial for these ones and more pics on my blog if you fancy a go

One idea on the other forum is a pot of gold.

In it people are putting sweets that are wrapped in foil - Asda's own chocolate eclairs, Werthers mints etc, a scratch card or 2, things like that. Putting them in a gold pot, or decorated pot and wrapping with cellophane. There's a poem that goes with it too:
Here’s a little pot of gold,
A festive nibble too,
I hope that it will make,
All of your dreams come true,
Have a very Merry Christmas,
From Us to You x
