Poems for Teaching Assistants

Hiya

I need a shortish(maybe 4-6 lines) poem for a TA.
It's for a gift i've done for Christmas just to say thanks.
Any ideas?

Depends on the type of things she does in class. Something like this?

For helping when we’ve skinned our knees.
For reminding us to say thanks and please.
For checking sums and hearing reading,
For cheering us on when we’re succeeding
For helping when our work gets tough.
We just can’t say thank you enough!

OH I am a TA and think thats fab may copy and stick up in the staff room

aw thank you I'm so glad you liked it.

I did a similar one for my DS's TA when she moved to a different class and she loved it but I couldn't find a copy of it so I kind of made this one up as I went along.

For putting up with Teacher's moods,
For biting our tongues when kids are rude,
For earning less than the cleaners' pay,
For doing the cleaning when she's away,
For the parents who don't even know our name,
And the ones that do nothing but moan and complain...

...Can you tell that my week's been crap?
But I love it really, I always go back!

Even though Hullabaloo's poem is really sweet and lovely this poem is SOOOOO true! It made me laugh! Though I have to say that my teacher is LOVELY. (this year anyway)
