** Card a Day challenge: March 26th - April 1st **
Here are this week's prompts - remember you can use any of the inspiration they provide - whether it's the prompt title or the elements or just the fact you're making a card! I've also added any manufacturers I spot to the prompts for extra inspiration using stash you have.
Once again I am still behind doing last week's cards but the weekend is coming up so I hope to catch up.
Oh and we'll be into a new month come Thursday so there is a special bonus card!!
Fri 26th - "Celebrate Life" - Inspiration: Heart die cut, pocket/tag combo, zig zag stitching, three pastel colours.
Sat 27th - "Pink Floral Sympathy" - Inspiration: Detail cut from patterned paper, alpha rub-ons, fabric brads.
Sun 28th - "Thoughts & Prayers" - Inspiration: Paisley, flourishes, tag/ribbon combo, square card.
Mon 29th - "Quote of the Day" - Inspiration: One design of patterned paper, wide ribbon/big bow, journaling stamp, scallop edge, landscape card
Tue 30th - "Happily Ever After" - Inspiration: Cream/Silver/Light Blue, stamped background, decorative pin, no greeting
Wed 31st - "Husband Birthday" - Inspiration: Green/blue/cream/brown, stamped border, dark card blank, leaves
** Bonus card - "Happy Easter" - Inspiration: Green/pink/yellow/blue, patterned ribbon, chicks, tiny alpha stickers, chipboard flower. **
Thu 1st - "Prank Me" - Inspiration: Ribbon border, spots, flat card (no 3D foam), Thickers, American Crafts.
Happy creating!
About this challenge
Every Friday I will be posting prompts based on card designs that appear in the "Card a Day" 2010 idea book from Papercrafts.
This is a stress-free challenge as you just take what inspiration you want from the prompts to create as many or as few cards a week as you are happy with.
How you interpret the prompts is up to you, you can use the title, elements, or none of the above as a springboard to your own ideas. And you can try to incorporate the elements in cards for other challenges.
Just share what you make in the dedicated weekly thread.
You can find previous prompts in Challenges and Inspiration and post your cards to the relevant threads any time - there are no deadlines!
