Never posted in this thread before, but happy as a sand girl, managed to make a notecard with only 2 distress inkpads, my blender, and some stamps:

Feeling very proud - even though I know its very simple and identical to a million others, but normally I throw embellies at things so this isn't the norm for me

That's fab Leanie - you will need to hang out more in the card forum with projects like that.

Cool distressing... I have just two distress ink pads but just haven't got the knack of doing anything that looks nice after I've attacked it with the smudging tool thingy.

Sorry, cmazza, not sure how you are trying to subscribe to it and with what tool - I now follow all my favourite blogs via google reader, where you just add the url of the blog in question to "Add subscription" so you can follow it.

Back on topic, I have just made this card today:

It's for this week's DCM dare on a dancing theme - I finally opened some "new" stash to play with including Cosmo Cricket Togetherness papers and My Cute Stamps stamps.

I keep meaning to spend more time on my cards, but always been scared of doing 'cutesy' - I love them but have no girlies to draw on (or make for) having two boys

That's lovely tho - is the greeting printed on or a rubon, or stamp?
And Jennie - you've obv gone puch crazy there, must have taken ages to stick down!

The greeting is a stamp from Papertrey, I have no kids full stop - so I say I'm allowed to do cutesy if I want to. hehe

I know what you mean - I keep wanting to make them and convincing myself I don't need to. But I WANT to!
Maybe that's what I'll do, spend all year making cards and then give them as gifts at Christmas and birthdays - people always need cards right???
