    Query

What is the difference between the Craft Robo and Craft Robo Pro. Apart from the price. And can you still use all the things you have bought for the original machine

Some info here that might help. Also the Robomaster software for the Pro doesn't have the weld function that you get with version 5.1 for the little Robo.

    More Pro information here too.

The Robo Master software is backwards compatible, which means you should be able to use most template designs with it. The current version of the software for the Pro is v4.4, and as Shirley has told you this doesn't have the latest features. However, if you install Robo Master 5.1 in a separate folder, then install Brian's converter software (look in the Tutorials section of our Robo forum) you can open files in v5.1, save them, convert, and then use the converted versions with the Pro. And you can take advantage of the latest features and design your templates this way too - I quite often work like that.

"The main reason people buy those machines [Craft Robos] is to cut out words and lace doily patterns for their scrapbooks."
