The end result is very effective indeed.

While I'm here I might as well share my card for this week's prompt.

Here's mine - squares, foam pads, and sweet. I think this covers all three!

gorgeous cards!!!!! love the sweet one phil.

well, i've had a bit of a catch up. was thrilled to see i'm just 3 behind until i remembered it was monday tomorrow

i've had so much fun doing these 3. i've done things on them that are firsts for me.

wk33 covered all 3 prompts here 'legally' lol. this little guy was hiding in the centre of my craft mag. they are there every month but i have never used them. they are normally not to my personal liking but i liked this months. i'm also very new to colouring, with limited markers too.

wk34 mucho artistic licence here. where is the plain i hear you ask - under the ink. i started with a plain piece of card and ended up here. i saw this done in a journal feature in a mag and loved the softness of the blending. i did a little different bits to make it 'mine' like the water lift off using a mask which shows really well in this pic. oh, my something new - i bought a design runner a long while back and have never used it, that is the sentiment on the bottom.

wk29 i made a stained glass acetate sheet i saw demoed recently. you can't see them well here but i added mica powder and glitter in which, again with artistic licence, makes this my jewel element i've never done this before and love it!!!!! i made the button using an offcut of the acetates matt and a button blank, another new thing for me.

i've enjoyed setting myself extra little challenges on these cards.

Well, I have finally managed to pull myself together and join in with this weeks prompts! I definitely have patterned paper and felt but sadly my stash is quite lacking in trims of any sort! Details are on my blog...

There are some lovely cards on here - I have a question, can you please tell me which 'brand' of Kraft card you use ... I have a few different pieces but I really like the one used above (Nat's rainbow card and Chick's butterfly card)

Phil -love how you've used that checked paper on your card. The perfect way to tick the "squares" box!

Lilli - can't believe how productive you've been - those cards are cool.

Trish - welcome back!!! And with such a lovely card too, is the leaf a nestie leaf? I am after some decorative leaf options for my cards as I just end up using the same ones...

Kitty - the kraft I used is a Papermania kraft card blank - I bought a couple of sets of these in square and A5(?), great stuff as they are the shade of kraft I like, not that washed out buff color.

Hi Kitty - I'm the same as Nat, I use the Papermania Kraft card blanks. I get them at the Range although I am sure there are plenty of other places that have them! I have the square ones, the 4x6 and the long ones but I find the long card blanks so hard to use that I usually just cut them up when I want a bit of kraft card (like I did on the one above!)

Thanks Nat! Yes, the leaf is a nestie one, I think it's this set. My mum has a much bigger collection of nesties than I do so sometimes I take my box of scraps to her house and cut things out for an afternoon, LOL!

Lovely cards from everyone by the way! I may not have been joining in but I have been lurking on the thread looking at what you all make!
