    Hi Ruth
The square is indeed a spellbinders die - Fleur de Lis squares, this is the largest of the set. The flourish is a Marianne die, a fairly recent release I think, but I can't remember the name. I could check back on my recent orders, it'll be there somewhere

    Wendy

found it, it is Anja's vintage swirls, a two die set.

Hi, i'm new on here and I'm loving the cards that everyone's made. I've been making cards for about two and half months and after much trial and error I have developed a steampunk style which I tend to come back to again and again. Here's a few pics of my cards, what do you think?

Junglejo - great cards....do use digital images or pre printed ones?

Kim Costello who you might now from Craft Stamper magazine has launched her own stamp range and there's a blog hop at the moment showcasing them...if you want to take a look start here:

Here's some cards using her "DesignA Knit" set

    Hi Paula,

I use mostly digital imagery at the moment and use the my memories digital scrap-booking software, which is a doddle to use, to design my cards. I then embellish as necessary. I like to use my craft robo to print and cut images.

I have high regard for people who are confident with stamping. I think I need to practise my technique more as mine never turn out very good.

Hi Junglejo - I love your Steam Punk cards - they are brilliant. With stamping - I find that it helps to use good quality ink pads, coated paper or card and a good stamp mat. Looking forward to seeing some more of your creations.

Junglejo, can't believe you're just starting out, your cards are great!

I'm not usually a fan of steampunk but I love what you've done. That first card would be brilliant for a graduation card.
Where did you get that image from?

It took me a while to feel happy with my stamping, so just keep trying and you'll find ink, stamps and a technique that suits you.

Thanks for the kind comments krafty1. The image for the first card was on a cd I bought containing royalty free steampunk images. I bought it off ebay. I made it for a student teacher who was leaving the school I work at.
