I was still feeling the "love" for roses last week when I made my card for the Daring Cardmakers' colour challenge. I am wondering how many uses a stamp sets needs to get before it starts paying for itself.
Fi, I love your Valentine's card. I love the unexpected cheekiness of it.
Nat, I love all those butterflies on the birthday card I will have to lift that - mind you, I need the punch first is it the set of MS punches? If you mean the Best Wishes stamp I'd say using it just once it was worth whatever you paid for it, such a beautiful, elegant font.
Susan, fabulous cards, I love the baby boy one so different and so sweet.
I'll have to go back through previous posts to see what I've missed lately.
Hi Susie, - yes it's a MS punch, one that has a medium butterfly and two little ones on it. Very handy! The Best Wishes stamp is from a wedding set by Waltzing Mouse Stamps but I use that greeting all the time - love the script and wish that more greetings of a general variety were released in the same font and style. The rose stamp (which is a 3-step stamp) is the one I have used a fair bit recently and just love the different colour possibilities that you can combine to create a different look every time.
Paula, your card is really pretty - love the seam binding, with flower and tiny tag - just perfect.
I promise I wont swamp this thread with tonnes of cards but I will just show this one that I made yesterday, using some of the new stuff by Papermania called "All Aboard"
Really lovely contrast with the white space - I always admire this style of clustering embellishments and findings together, but I always fail epically when I try it!
