Your cards always look so stunning and professional Nat! Here are two that I made with my new SU curly label punch and frames stamp set and the vines embossing folder.
The card I made for last week's Daring Cardmakers challenge to use the popular chalkboard technique going the rounds at the moment in the stamping and cardmaking world.
Beautiful cards as ever Nat, and so different from one another, I love the chalkboard technique (must give it a try) and the bunny card is so soft and delicate.
Susan, I love the sentiment - considering the occasion - great card too!
Susan, that's a great array of lovely flowers on that card - I bet she will love it!
Well, here's my last card to share for this week. Made for the current "Springs" challenge on the Daring Cardmakers blog. I went with a Spring-ish theme and also made DIY springs out of the stalks from the paper flowers:
I spent an enjoyable day yesterday 'messing about', trying out different techniques and I made a selection of various backgrounds. I liked some so much that I thought they should be a 'feature' in their own right. This was one of them.
First I stamped with 'Watermark Resist' on to glossy card stock, then I used sponge daubers to daub various shades of ink over the surface, then I wiped off the excess ink and finally sprayed it with copper 'Glimmer Mist' (of course, you can't see the shimmer in the photo) Then I mounted that on to black card stock and tied an organza ribbon around it before mounting it on to the card. I finished it off with some splashes of Sakura Clear Gel pen here and there.
