So the way I see it,as it stands,we will have to either pay for the set or wait for the Cameo blade to be sorted out.

Yes I know about that and that only applies to machines where the software doesn't compensate for the offset, I read that the software we use makes an adjustment for a 45º angle blade, anything different is going to affect the cut in some way, it isn't just about the thickness of the media in my mind if you try to force the machine to do something it wasn't designed to do, using third party consumables you will probably have problems.

The best replacement 'spindle' blade for the
Craft Robo CC2200
cutting cardstock paper
is a 45 degree angle blade because the CR program compensates for any angle being off. Do not need the 60 degree blade.

I'm not saying buy any blade that is advertised as being ! degree offset, I've only bought blades recommended for the CR.
