This week's sounds simple enough, erm that's probably why it'll be tricky LOL

I have not been around for a while as I have been laid up first with a dose of the flu and then I got the norovirus bug straight after, so I have just been catching up on the thread. Lots of fantastic cards ladies, there is so much inspiration to be found and lots of beautiful work

I think I have three weeks worth of prompts now to catch up with including today's prompt which I love I will need to get busy to catch back up

Aww, hope you feel better, Karen. Norovirus is pretty nasty, half the patients in the hospital where I work are coming down with it at the moment! Take care of yourself

Ooh I like today's prompt, I can definitely do this one (i think!)

Mmmmm create a card using just one design of pp.....methinks this'll be trickier than it first appears!

Thank you petalcutter that's very kind of you.

I can't believe I couldn't manage a pastel card for last week but like Karen I've been trying to get over gastroenterititis. It's hubby's 65th birthday shortly and I've got to make banners and posters and wouldn't you know it, the photo's I want appear to be the ones I lost when my external hard drive crashed, they would be the only ones I hadn't backed up to disc.

Week 8 card. Got a day off work tomorrow so stayed up late to finish this weeks card. Couldn't get a very good photo of the embossed part but hopefully it's reasonably clear.

Ooh that little bird embossing is lovely, and the ribbon is a perfect finishing touch - really love the colour combo!

Karen, I hope you are well on the way to recovery, how awful. I had a ghastly 24-hr thing last week and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Susie hope things are calmer soon.

And yes, this week's prompt really is a simple one, I promise - but if you want to make it complicated who am I to argue?? LOL

Great cards everyone. I really need to play catch up, just written down the challenges for the year and marked off the ones I've done - the first 4! I didn't realise I'd fallen that far behind ooops!

Off to my desk, will award myself bonus points if I can make a good dent in my scraps box

    Hi Lin.

It's from a free set of stamps that I got on issue 83 of simply cards and papercraft magazine. I must admit, if the free gift is good, I buy the magazine!

    Petalcutter

Hope you feel better by now. My niece is moving house next week, have made a new home card for her and then my husband suggested I make a card for her son too - it's taken me all afternoon to make a 'pirate card',it's all go and never enough time to do everything!
