Most of us are using Studio software now, which is free nicer to use than RM, has a few more functions and will open GSD files regardless of what version they were made in. There is a link in a sticky thread further up this page where you can download.
If you want to stick with RoboMaster, you can download the last version they made from Tina's blog here scroll down the page it's on the right hand side.

Hi Lucille...Thank you for that...so if I download studio. can I open all the files I have saved on my computer in studio rather than in RM..they just open the same way, I usually double click on the saved file and it automatically opens in RM I then print or cut tem from there....so it will do the same thing in studio...

Yes, when I migrated from RoboMaster, Studio opened all my files with no problems and it's so much nicer.

Loves playing with Studio
Hi Littletink and welcome to the forum.
I think most people agree that Studio is definitely an improvement on Robomaster, give it a try.

You can't double click on a GSD file and it open in Studio.
They can be opened and used in studio, no problem, but you have to open the studio software then click on file>open, then in the drop down box 'File fype' choose GSD, then locate your file and double click on it.
Or the way I prefer to do it is open studio, reduce the window size of studio, then drag the GSD file I want into the studio program.
Hope that helps and I haven't confused you

You can get Studio to open your GSD files by default by using File Association and selecting Studio as the program to open them. I've done that it saves a lot of faffing about.
To get Studio to open your old GSD files, do the following
Go to the folder you keep all your GSD files in
Right click on any file in the folder
Left click Properties (bottom of the list)
Left click the Change button
Left click on the Browse button
Navigate to your Program Files (x86) folder and open it by left double clicking on it
Find a folder called Silhouette Studio again left double click to open it
Look for a file called Silhouette Studio.exe
Left double click on it (that window will close)
Left click OK to close that window
Left click OK to close that window

so if I download Silhouette Studio, onto my computer, i can then use that program and my Robo machine and cut out as I normally would...via the studio program. I don't need a new machine or anything, just learn to use the studio program....correct..?

That's right - you don't need a new machine it will work with your existing one.

Ok. one more question..I have 2 machines, one in my scrapbook room, and one in the computer room for practicing on files at night, my scrapbook room is off the Veranda and separate to the house.....can i download silhouette onto jump drive and install it onto my other computer, the one in the cutting room....the reason I ask is the one in the computer room is connected to the internet all the time..so has security, the one I use in my scrapbook room is not on the net at anytime and does not have any internet security on it, so don't want to connect it to the internet to download the silhouette program
