You might find it interesting to do a search for Concept card, there was a discussion last year I believe. One of the things someone said was that it takes ink really well, so if you need or want a specific colour you can safely colour small amounts of the card for projects on your printer. I've used a sheet to print small colour swatches of colours I would most likely want and can confirm it does take ink well.
