oh my, i'm getting stressed for you Karen! Brilliant to have your cards go to good homes though!

Thank you for the lovely comments! They are always much appreciated!

The butterfly is a totally gorgeous Kaisercraft one called Botanical. Perfect for clean and simple cards although I used it for the postage prompt too! I just checked it out on the net to find the name and am having to have a spend now lol! they are so reasonable!

great cards as always Phil, love the colours on the rolled flowers one.

TC - love your cards but the lady searching made me choke on my coffee!!!! roflol! If you find them can you see if mine are partying with them please!

Well, get me still being up to date! and loving the fact it has made me make Crhistmas cards - I now have 3 made mmmm, not really a hole in the total I need but it's a start!

    Week 42

Another thrifty one too - backing papers were a freebie pack, the tag is one I've had in a box printed off for a long while - talking at least a year if not 2. The rafia is some I bought in Tesco one January sales which has lasted years! Snowflake is also from a pack in Tesco sales.

Now I need to get making 'flat' cards - the post office has a lot to answer curbing my embellishings!

Have had a lot of catching up to do over the weekend - life does keep interferring with crafting, doesn't it ? LOL!

Right - here we go - Week 38 Paper and simple - made two one a Christmas card using Iris Folding, and one 'Thank you' card using paper strips.

Edit: Just realised I had already put up the Iris Folded one for week 38 - I am totally losing the plot here !

Week 40 - Christmas Scene - Lily of the Valley die cut topper combined with Cheery Lyn Ivy Flourish die.

I should say that's a well deserved cuppa, what a lovely load of cards, I have a little group of notes with all the details and now I'm trying to get into the CC without much success. One day, one day.
Babs; Song lyrics? I don't think I've even got that one on my list, that's how behind I am. :Liking leaves, can't have too many leaves.
Lilliboy; 3 cards is a good start, I haven't even got the Christmas stuff out yet. I always have a fantasy that I'm going to have a day card making during half term, hasn't happened yet, who know, maybe this year. Youstage your cards so nicely, great card too.
Well, it's Monday so I'm now another week behind, or got another prompt on the pile, so I'd best get to it.

    week 43 & 44

I dislocated and broke one of my toes on Monday so can't get to work or go out due to the fact that I can't get my shoes on let alone drive.

Luckily, my sister, who lives about 450 miles away from me, has half term off as she teaches. So we spent the day yesterday on Skype (6 hours in fact!) with her at the end of my dining table making Christmas cards together which meant we kept each other company!

I only managed to make 3 cards including week 44 (43 to follow when I have done a little bit more to it.) She managed 8!

Had a lovely day and it made me feel much less sorry for myself with my painful foot.

I'm off now to finish week 43.

    Week 42 now added

Ouch - how painful for you !

Those are lovely cards - especially the three kings - the colours in that one are really beautiful.

I couldn't help laughing out loud when reading that comment about Claire making 8 cards in one sitting - you should have seen our productivity at the crop on Friday night. I wonder if she managed to find a festive use for her dinosaur BG paper...

Sorry to hear about your toe, that is no fun at all. But at least with a sitting-down-hobby it one way to aid recovery and lift the spirits.

Great cards - and looking forward to seeing week 43!

Well, so I made a "batch" of cards, but I did manage 2 colourways at least, then 2 more different ones after our skype crop.

Excellent! And there were definitely no kebabs involved I take it.
