Here is mine for week 8 - that Papermania pack of papers which was bought for me by a well-meaning friend and which I absolutely hate! - well it has come to the rescue once more! Just goes to show, we must never throw anything away.....
PM are often in the pile of why do I keep this stuff, but I get a really satisfied feeling when I make something half decent with it, nice Job with that stash HBD.
Lovely work with the colours too Virginia.
Just popping in to share my Christmas card for this week, another clean and simple one from me... seems to be the way I am going at the moment. But can't seem to make a card without a bit of 3D foam on it!
I do happen to have a spellbinders poinsettia die set so have used it for my week 9 Christmas card.
I was also brave and cut my dotty cuttlebug embossing folder in half at the hinge to emboss a continuous pattern on the background card as it was bigger than the folder. It worked!
and week 9
I thought I was going to struggle with roses, but I found some stickers I have had for years.
not my favourite cards this week but I've managed to clear a bit of ancient stash !
I think they are really effective designs Alison. And most importantly they are ready to send come December. really like those snowflakes off to the side.
Super use of the rose there.
I've often wondered about splitting the folders as I often want to emboss a part of my card that won't work with the placement of the fold on the folder. How do you get the pieces to match up with the card in between?
