Here is mine for week 8 - that Papermania pack of papers which was bought for me by a well-meaning friend and which I absolutely hate! - well it has come to the rescue once more! Just goes to show, we must never throw anything away.....

Considering they weren't your favourite papers Wendy you have done a smashing job using them.

Just popping in to share my Christmas card for this week, another clean and simple one from me... seems to be the way I am going at the moment. But can't seem to make a card without a bit of 3D foam on it!

I am liking the holly cards Nat and Wendy.

I do happen to have a spellbinders poinsettia die set so have used it for my week 9 Christmas card.

I was also brave and cut my dotty cuttlebug embossing folder in half at the hinge to emboss a continuous pattern on the background card as it was bigger than the folder. It worked!

Virginia, that is absolutely gorgeous I have often wondered about cutting embossing folders, but have never dared!

I know, but figured if it didn't work I could always buy another one. It will only work with folders with a repeat pattern though.

Super use of the rose there.
I've often wondered about splitting the folders as I often want to emboss a part of my card that won't work with the placement of the fold on the folder. How do you get the pieces to match up with the card in between?
