Mad cat
Splats of paint which look as though someone upset the paint pot - hate them. Also faces with no features. But I love, love, love butterflies - may their wings never drop off.

Let the good times roll.........
Defo fed up of seeing owls now. I think basic motifs like arrows, hearts and stars will always be useful so you can't rule those out.
4Heures37 did a line with a glasses motif, (spectacle kind of glasses) on that were really cute but I couldn't ever think of theme to work them into.
What about light bulbs as the new motif. I could think of lots of 'light' (of my life) or 'bright idea' kind of opportunities to work those into a layout or a card

Nooooooooo butterflies forever! I love them and use them consistently!
I really haven't caught onto the whole mustache thing.
I've got a lot more adaptable with how to use icons in pages over the years (after being on creative teams and having to work with what you're given helps that in a big way) but the mustaches definitely haven't made it onto a page of mine ... yet!

just don't call me The Boss
Interesting. I was just planning on getting the hexagon Nesties, as I haven't really used them much at all but like all I have seen with then. But then I has so used to holding off getting something trendy because I am sure it will be not-trendy all too quickly, or get sick of it before I actually buy it, but I suspect hexagons, like circles, will be something I like for a long time
Oh and CUPCAKES - yes, quite sick of them.

Procrastinating Scrapper...
My personal turn-off: big 3-d flowers on layouts, like the rolled ones... I can understand them being used on canvases or frames that are meant to be 3-d and out in the open, but not on layouts that (in my mind/opionion) need to be flat(ish) to fit into a page protector in an album - else all that hard work will just get squashed!

Wise Weasel Witterings ... Eagles may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines!

I love butterflies and will never tire of them.
I never caught on with moustaches, bird cages, steampunk, owls, birds, feathers or clouds. I can take or leave clocks.
Hexagons I found a little too geometric after I spent a fortune on a punch from Ebay...
I like stars but then I have boy, so that works well. I don't think I could catch on the bug motif at all.

I love butterflies, and hate wings, dunces hats and cupcakes

What have we here Watson?
I will never tire of cogs, clocks etc. but there are some bits of Steampunk that I just don't "get"
Never been a great lover of birds but love birdcages.
Trees & leaves are things I could never do without but as to a new motif...just can't think of anything that hasn't been around in one shape or form.

Normal? No, I'm just me
I've never liked featureless faces either.
I'm one of those who doesn't worry too much overdone/overused.
ScrappyPat, that's some list. What do you use instead? Inspiration please for more ideas.
Love, Sarah xoxo

I am fed up seeing 'Keep Calm and Carry On....', 'Live, Laugh, Love'....
and things like the big pointy dunces caps and wings on vintage images...
It is incomprehensible to me but the relevance and importance is overwhelming.
