mod podge

Hi, my name is Pat.I dont scrapbook as such but make non edible cake toppers...
my question is can you use mod podge on any material

I have a couple of bottles of Mod Podges and it says on the front of the bottle "The waterbase sealer, glue and finish for all surfaces".

I've used it on paper, cardboard, wood and material with success.
