I've been trying to keep up with all the lovely cards posted this week, but as it's been my week off from work I've been out and about and rather busy. And now the sore throat and cough I had Thursday is a full blown cold.
So, sorry for neglecting you all but I've really liked the cards shared this week.
Just to say my blog host is currently down, so I can't draft tomorrow's post today however as it's a sketch week I can share the pic for it here in case you want an early start, as I suspect I will not be up before 8 a.m. tomorrow if my ibuprofen, etc. finally kicks in and if they manage to fix the problem over at typepad!

So happy crafting for week 17!

Hope you're feeling better soon Nat. I had the dreaded lurgy a week or two ago and am only just getting over it.

What a lovely prompt! I'm up to my eyes in cards at the moment but will have to see if it will fit the bill. May is one of those months full of birthdays. Well, actually it now starts in April and goes right through May. Also had to make a few Easter cards but I can't really complain, it's not as if I don't know these cards were needed!!!

Three lovely cards Wendy. The background paper on the first two is so pretty and delicate - loving the butterflies.

Those are stunning, Wendy. As Susie says that background paper is lovely, and I think the peacock is glorious - is he a stamp?

yes, he is a stamp from Impression Obsession, I saw him coloured in at the Make It show a couple of years ago, bought the stamp and took a picture of the card on the stand for reference, then ... he got left in a drawer A few weeks ago I coloured him but then didn't get around to making up a card - when the 'gold' prompt came along I knew he would be perfect!

Lynn, what a great way of using that 'Timepiece@ door paper

Well, it doesn't look like Typepad posting is going to be up again any time soon.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I am almost out of tissues here at home and have had to put the fire on as I am absolutely freezing despite having a temperature. Oh joy! What a way to end my time off.

Just in time for my return to work tomorrow, but am thinking I will work from home as my head still feels like it's made of lead.

Back to the sofa for now...

Oh, you sound as if you are having a bad time of it Nat. I found the after effects of my bug left me wiped out, hope you fair better than I did. Get well soon!

I made another card with an animal on so thought I'd post it anyway.
