Lacy Gatefold

This is the card I designed for my sister's birthday at the end of March. I cut the main body of the card in centura pearl and cut panels in a lovely in lace paper. I used a topper from the Kanban lovely in lace collection for the cnetre and and adhered lace to the back of it to give a nice lacy edge. Great care is needed when lifting the main card from the carrier sheet.
I had an unusual experience when cutting this - my ratchet blade housing broke in half when I was about three quarters through cutting - see pic - strangely the actual blade itself is undamaged. I had been using the blade for a long time so I suppose it must have been overwork! Fortunately I had a spare.

Thanks for sharing this loevly design. It's a shame about your blade housing it looks like a massive amount of pressure would be needed to break it like that.

Thank you for sharing.

I hope you let Graphtec know about the blade housing and at the very least
they should send you a replacement.
