I was also wonderig about the acid free after getting lots of wallpaper samples - decided to treat myself to a can of the spray stuff to be on the safe side!
Funnily enough dd and I grabbed a whole load of them today in Homebase, becasue we are looking for paint colours for her room. I suggested that we use them for scrapping! Thanks everyone for links to LOs, they are all lovely, and have given us both inspiration
I have just turned round found my ever growing stash of paint chips(much get more) and rub the lettering off, whay hey it works great,
how do you make match books are they really tiny?
Lucy they are really tiny as wide as a paint strip or thinner if you want, and the height depends on how long you want them to be, I have done some instructions for you!!!!!
Matchbook instructions All I did to make my matchbook was to fold up about 1cm from the bottom (with the writing inside, facing you and the paint chart on the table) staple it in the middle of this turned up bit and the cut the long strip until it is the size of the matchbook you want, then you just insert the end into the stapled end hey presto you have a matchbook . This prob doesnt make sense so will try and upload a pic tonight so that you can see what I mean

Instructions in the above thread , here is a picture of them the one on the left open with a staple through it and the one on the right closed using a brad in place of a staple.
