I read somewhere (in a mag I'm sure, but can't remember which one) that they ARE acid free.

I have used the paint strips in a LO and have also used them for the sign in tags in my 1st cj, you can see them here:

Funnily enough dd and I grabbed a whole load of them today in Homebase, becasue we are looking for paint colours for her room. I suggested that we use them for scrapping! Thanks everyone for links to LOs, they are all lovely, and have given us both inspiration

Gismo - Yes you can use a normal rubber to get rid of the names of the paint on the cards. I had fun with them tonight making some mini matchbooks!

    Hi All

Lucy they are really tiny as wide as a paint strip or thinner if you want, and the height depends on how long you want them to be, I have done some instructions for you!!!!!

Matchbook instructions All I did to make my matchbook was to fold up about 1cm from the bottom (with the writing inside, facing you and the paint chart on the table) staple it in the middle of this turned up bit and the cut the long strip until it is the size of the matchbook you want, then you just insert the end into the stapled end hey presto you have a matchbook . This prob doesnt make sense so will try and upload a pic tonight so that you can see what I mean

Instructions in the above thread , here is a picture of them the one on the left open with a staple through it and the one on the right closed using a brad in place of a staple.

That is lovely Sam! I am inspired to have a go with that. Do you attach them to your LOs?

Sam, they are lovely what a great way of hiding a little piece of journalling, or if they are acid free, a photograph
