    Question Xmas List!

I've been asked by my dh and family for my xmas list as they don't know what to buy me!! I would really like a new paper trimmer as my current one is a really old one that I got from a stationers about 10 years ago!! I've been looking around on the internet at the different ones but would love some advice from anyone who has got one of the 12x12 portable ones as to which ones are worth getting.

    Thanks
    Hayley

I have the provo craft one, it has a fold out ruler to take 12 x 12 paper. Very portable.

I have the fiskars 12" personal trimmer and would NOT recommend it the blade wobbles terribly and I can't get a straight cut. I have the new X-cut 12" trimmer on my chrissie list.

I have a few different ones (keep searching for the elusive perfect trimmer,LOL) and although I like the Zision and also the Fiskars I don't like buying new blades all the time, the Zision in particular seems to wear out very quickly. For my cardmaking I use a small X-cut guillotine which is still as sharp as the day I got it,the larger version is currently on offer at £14.99 instead of £29.99 so I am hoping Santa will bring me one.

I have got the small x-cut for trimming mounts and small bits of paper and have just bought the large one that is on offer for £14.99 instead of £29.99. I would highly recommend them both, I couldnt make cards or scrapbook without them.

    Hope that helps!

My fiskars doesn't cut straight at all, and my Zision one cuts straight for a bit and then goes wonky. The blade has also cut a bit out of the trimmer - not impressive. It's the best I've had so far though.

at your local Do Crafts stockist (as long as they're participating in the offers).

My LCS varies from month to month, but they did have this offer on. But they had a limited stock (quite a bit pile though) which sold out in about 5 days.
